This house sits at 706 South 24th Street in Terre Haute, Indiana and is the house I grew up in as a youngster. Actually we lived in the house to the right for about the first 10 years of my life... heated with coal!! The window on the second floor over the porch was my room, used to crawl out every once in a while...

Here is another picture from the other end of the house/animal hospital. Thanks to Rob Robbins for these pictures. I recall that dad used to hide money in the closets in this house. He had little panels that could be removed. We also had a chest type freezer out in the breezeway where mom kept frozen meat. I think dad put a baby pig in there once to keep it for analysis up at Purdue, mom freaked out...
